How to read these docs
This site describes an open protocol and a planned reference Runtime. Specifications are draft; Runtimes are not yet available. Start with the path that matches your goal.
Suggested reading order
- Introduction — vision, platform layers, principles, licensing
- Application Examples — what to build on Faberio (Community Hub and other categories)
- Implementation Roadmap — current scope (M1–M3), out of scope, and Phase 4
- Specs — normative protocol detail (follow the Specs reading order)
By role
| If you are… | Read first |
|---|---|
| Exploring the idea | Introduction → Application Examples → Related Work |
| Planning implementation | Roadmap (In scope / Out of scope) → Specs index (Reference MVP coverage) → relevant specs |
| Reviewing security assumptions | Threat Model → Identity Model, Data Access Control |
| Looking up a term | Glossary |
| Contributing to docs or specs | Contributing |
What is normative vs illustrative
Specs define intended Runtime behaviour; other docs explain the product and plan — and when the reference MVP differs from the full protocol target, follow Specs — Reference MVP coverage and the roadmap milestones.
